EVX Software has always connected with QuickBooks Online on the financial transaction side, keeping invoices in sync between both platforms. Version 4 takes that integration further, extending it to the full operational layer. Clients, vendors, and projects now sync in real time as well, so both systems stay aligned from the moment data is created, not just at the point of billing.

What the expanded integration covers

In Version 4, vendors, projects, and clients now sync between EVX Software and QuickBooks Online in real time. When you create or update any of these records in EVX Software, the change is reflected in QBO automatically. There is no manual export, no scheduled sync to wait for, and no separate step required in the accounting system. The two platforms stay aligned from the moment the data is entered.

Clients

When a new client is added to EVX Software, that client appears in QuickBooks Online without anyone having to enter it a second time. Updates to client information in EVX Software carry through to QBO as well, so both systems always reflect the current record.

VENDORS

Vendors added or updated in EVX Software sync to QBO in real time. For firms that work with subcontractors and third-party suppliers, this means the vendor records used in project management and the vendor records used in accounting are always the same, without manual reconciliation to keep them that way.

Projects

Projects created in EVX Software now sync to QBO, which means the financial structure in your accounting software reflects your actual project portfolio from the start. Billing and reporting in QBO are based on current project data rather than on records that may lag behind what's actually happening in the project management system.

What this replaces

Before Version 4, adding a new client or vendor meant doing it twice, once in EVX Software and once in QuickBooks Online. The same was true for projects. Names entered slightly differently, records updated in one system but not the other, projects in QBO that didn't match the current structure in EVX Software.
